Los Angeles – NASCAR and Trans Am standout Lawless Alan will be joining Hammer-Motorsports, driver lineup this weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the twin World Racing League Eight Hour Enduros. Alan will be one of the four drivers in the Hammer-Motorsports, Lucas Oil, AUTOParkit.com, Audi RS3 LMS.
Coming off back-to-back wins the San Antonio-based team looks to be one of the weekend favorites.
Team Owner Tim Myer said, “We are excited about Lawless joining Hammer-Motorsports. He has proven he can win in anything and he has done every well at Mid-Ohio in the past. Our team is fresh off a win and we hope Lawless can anchor us in winning what would be three wins in a row!”
Alan said, “I’m really looking forward to this. These cars are really different than the NASCAR Camping World Truck and The Trans Am presented by Pirelli TA2 car that I race. Besides being front wheel drive, the cars are paddle shifted with driver adjustable ABS and traction control. They’re high tech and quick — this is going to be big fun and I can’t wait.”
AUTOParkit Marketing Director Steve Sharp said, “Our new factory is in Warren, Ohio, so it will be our first home race. We have a number of guests coming out who we’re sure will have a great time. Tim and the team have rolled out the red carpet for both us and Lawless. Motorsports has proven to be a great marketing piece for AUTOParkit and Lawless has done a fantastic job for us. Once the pandemic winds down, you’ll see a lot more of Lawless and AUTOParkit in NASCAR Camping World Truck, Trans Am as well as one-off appearances like this weekend.”
You can ride along with Lawless this weekend. There will be a live stream of his race on the World Racing League YouTube Channel. Be sure to follow Lawless on Twitter or Instagram for updates every race weekend.
